Limited Edition Volvo C30 R-Design
December 31st, 1969
Volvo has released an updated version of its R-Design performance accessories line for the C30 hatch range, which will only be offered to a maximum of 400 customers. Like all R-Design packs, the latest kit doesn’t offer any performance upgrades, which means top end models still get a 227hp turbocharged T5 five-cylinder engine and five-speed Geartronic transmission.
Premium touches include a matte-silver finish for the outside mirror housings, front grille surround and the Volvo logo across the front, as well as a sports bodykit, tailgate spoiler, large diameter exhaust tips and 18in Atreus wheels.
Stepping inside the cabin, occupants are treated with cream-colored leather seats highlighted with embossed R-Design logos, blue-face instrument panels, aluminium trim and a special leather-wrapped steering with aluminium inlays displaying the R-Design logo. Additional features include sports pedals, a sports shifter, and floor mats. Optional extras include a DVD-based navigation system with real time traffic, power driver's seat, glass moonroof, bi-xenon headlights and a Dynaudio premium sound system.

Gut check:
Volvo C30 = good / right
BMW 1 series = bad / wrong
And I'm not alone feeling this way.

If we are talking about sportiveness by look, yes, this car has very sportive lines however this car should have had much better HP producing engines at 1600-1800-2000cc levels.
T5 and D5 might seem satisfactory for most but Volvo needs revolution in medium size engines
