2009 Infiniti FX teaser leaks
December 31st, 1969
Infiniti’s next-generation FX SUV has been spotted a number of times in testing over the past month but those pre-production models were always obscured by camouflage material covering the headlights and grille. Now, an official teaser image has been released prematurely on several internet forums, revealing for the first time the car’s new headlight shape.
The FX range is expected to debut at this week’s Geneva Motor Show and will include several different models ranging from a base FX37 with Nissan’s new 3.7L VQ37VHR engine and topping out with a new V8 model tipped to have more than 400hp.
The 2009 FX will be roughly the same size as the current model but will benefit from a weight reduction program. Also, expect the new FX to feature Nissan’s full bevy of safety features and driving aids including the Around View parking and lane departure warning systems.
