Smart unveils 'limited two' fortwo

Smart has unveiled its 'limited two' model at the Geneva Motor Show. The limited two is a special edition version of the Smart fortwo and will only be produced as a limited series of 2,000 units. The limited two will get a number of high quality upgrades to the exterior and interior, including cognac brown leather with two-tone seams, heated leather seats, a sports steering wheel with paddle-shift function and leather trimmed floor mats. On the outside, buyers get a light blue metallic paint job that was developed especially for the limited two. The car is available as a coupe or cabriolet and comes with a 71hp petrol engine linked to a five-speed auto box.

Smart has also unveiled three other variants of the fortwo, including the smart fortwo microhybrid drive which is using 8% less fuel than before thanks to a stop/start function. A fortwo CDI was also shown, which uses state-of-the-art common rail direct injection to achieve astonishing consumption figures - an average of 3.3 litres per 100km and just 88 grams of C02 per kilometre makes it the lowest emitting series production car in the world.

A smart fortwo BRABUS was also shown, a powerful and more sports-oriented version of the fortwo, with an option to upgrade further to a BRABUS Xclusive.
