Bugatti sells 220 Veyrons

Bugatti sells 220 Veyrons

December 31st, 1969 It’s hard to believe that one of the most expensive cars in the world has racked up 220 sales in a little over two years but when you factor in that it’s also the fastest production car ever sold then it becomes a little more fathomable. Bugatti has received 220 confirmed orders for its supercar and so far 132 very fortunate people have had their cars delivered. This also means that, based on the current production rate, the Veyron order books are full until well into 2009. Bugatti will only be building 300 Veyrons in total so that leaves only 80 cars remain, which many believe could be a new Targa model. Based on increasing demand from customers for an individualization program, Bugatti recently introduced two special edition models including the unpainted Pur Sang and the more recent Veyron Fbg par Hermès, which was unveiled only last week at the Geneva Motor Show. Bugatti has also opened up new stores in China, Russia and South Korea, and now has 32 locations worldwide. 1. I've never seen that color red before on a Bugatti. Looks sharp!

  2. How much money is lost on each sale even considering VW wrote off the cost of R&D?

  3. I think every Veyron costs 4-5 million $ to build. That's probably without including R&D.

  4. germandude; thats just rediculous. the 4-5 million figure was an estimate BASED ON including the R&D into the equation.

you couldn't make a car out of 5 million dollars of materials and labour. thats the MSRP of small jets.

  5. Do you really need 32 stores to sell 300 cars?

  6. gus, at least its not as bad as maybach. there are maybach dealers that have YET to sell a car, and those cars a significantly cheaper than this one. but I agree. they should do their sales at auto shows, much like ferrari and lambo.

  7. man i cant believe RUSSIA has already 67 bugatti and people still are in line to get them thill 2010 because only few are buil in a year thil they get to 300. RUSSIANS are rill crazy whets why is says ,Moscow has most billionaires that any other city in the world and its the richest city in the planet also they have the most expensive cars while we have only 2 bugattis in usa in 2007 don't know why probably because usa is to poor to afford them.

  8. americans are to poor to drive them like russians because we americans like hollywood stars drive cars under$70 -80 thousand only thats sucks.

  9. chris maybach is rill nice it better that all usa cars because as history shows usa has the world domes't cars that are poorly engineered and are suck whets why usa cars are falling down in prize in every country as sheet but look at Japanese cars like lexus acura infinity they are growing up and germany cars to but american are sucks
