December 31st, 1969 The new Insignia sedan is a crucial model for GM as this is the first car to be based on the latest Epsilon II global architecture, which will spawn new midsized saloons for both the Buick and Saab brands. The new Insignia will also go on to sell in the U.S. as the next-generation Saturn Aura and may possibly be sold in Australia as a Holden as well as some parts of Asia.     This is a good looking vehicle for GM ...hopefully the quality and fuel efficiency will be in place - if so it should sell well.
