Aston Martin and Kilgour present custom Vantage V8

December 31st, 1969 Just days after the reveal of the Versace-inspired Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster comes the new Aston Martin ‘Kilgour Edition’ Vantage V8. The stylish coupe was revealed yesterday by British fashion label at the BETC Photographic Studio as part of the celebrations for Paris Fashion Week. The special V8 Vantage was finished in a unique Morning Frost Satin paint, which has the appearance of fine silk. Its contrasting interior, meanwhile, was finished in Kilgour Midnight Blue and features seat-inserts with a polka-dot pattern. The car’s mechanical package has been left untouched, which means it runs the same 420hp (313kW) 4.7L V8 engine launched in the updated Vantage last month. Aston Martin hasn’t revealed how many Kilgour coupes will be made or when in fact the cars will even go on sale, but given the trend with special edition exotics like the new Kilgour Vantage production will likely be extremely limited.
