The 3.6L TDV8 in the Range Rover Sport has been tuned by Cosworth to deliver 300hp (224kW)
Enlarge PhotoThe custom SUV, dubbed the Kahn Cosworth Sport 300, is based on the 3.6L TDV8 Range Rover Sport but has been given some minor engine mods and styling changes both inside and out. We first heard about the project back in July and now, ahead of its debut, Project Kahn has released the full specs for the vehicle.
Power from the turbocharged diesel engine has been boosted to 300hp (224kW) – up from 268hp (200kW) in the stock version. This is enough to accelerate the Sport 300 from 0 to 62mph in about 8 seconds and see it reach a top speed of 135mph. The standard model takes 8.6 seconds for the same sprint and is only capable of reaching a top speed of 130mph.
Changes to the bodywork include new spoilers in the front and rear, flared wheel arches, and 22in deep dish alloy wheels wrapped with 285mm rubber. Other features include a carbon-fiber engine cover, twin Alpine LCD screens, a Phillips cordless phone, iPod connectivity, and both front and rear parking cameras. Trim details include aluminum foot pedals, Nappa leather, stainless steel door sill plates with an engraved Cosworth logo, and an Alcantara laced steering wheel.
Pricing for the upgrade starts at £17,000 (approximately $33,743) plus a Range Rover Sport TDV8.

I want to know..why would anyone want this?
If you want looks and off road ability, get the MB G class.
I don't know if that's sold in diesel across the pond, but it makes no sense whatsoever to buy this anyway.

"You can put lipstick on a pig..."
In Spanish: Aunque la mona se vista de seda, mona queda.
But in this case it's worse that the original. That front bumper is rice, and the rear wing is too big. And they added a second one too!
