Enlarge PhotoThe 500’s compact size and low cost means it’ll make do with a manual folding soft-top and will likely provide seating for only two passengers. Fiat’s styling director Roberto Giolito has previously stated that the car would remain simple and affordable, and that recent advances in fabric roof design will remove some off the perceived drawbacks. The included computer generated renderings give a good indication as to what the final version could look like, but we’ll have to wait until the car’s reveal next week to see the final result.
Engine options will likely remain the same as the hardtop, which means the 70hp (52kW) 1.2L and 100hp (75kW) 1.4L petrol engines and the ultra-efficient 75hp (56kW) 1.3L Multijet diesel will carry over.

Yes, but can a man drive one of these?
I guess if he can drive a VW Beetle convertible...

It doesn't look like a cabrio, it looks like a full length role back sunroof. The doors still have full frames, the C pillar is still in place and if you look inside you can still see the full B pillar where the seatbelts attach.
