Video: Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 hits the autobahn
December 31st, 1969
The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 hasn’t even arrived in some U.S. states but the first press car has already touched down in Germany and is just weeks away from competing in the annual Nardo high-speed shootout in Italy. Its German minders have now taken the 638hp supercar for a spin on the autobahn and even managed to reach a top speed of around 300km/h (186mph), although not quite the 330km/h (205mph) we know the car is capable of. Follow the jump to watch a video of the first drive.

Whatever.
Most of the world drives on the right, and that's the way it will always be.
It's not the car that fails, it's the countries who refuse to change to match the majority of the world...
