Audi S5 images surface

Even more images of Audi’s all-new A5 coupe have turned up, this time of the S5 performance variant. Final details and specifications will be released closer to the car’s official debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, but we can confirm that the S5 will be powered by Audi’s familiar 4.2L V8 FSI engine mated to either a conventional six-speed manual or a dual-clutch S-tronic gearbox.

Apart from the obvious ‘S’ badging, the new S5 will be differentiated from regular A5 models thanks to the slightly more aggressive front bumper, a strip of LED running lights below each headlight, chrome highlights on both the front and rear bars, plus quad-exhaust tips to finish off the tougher appearance.
