Where is the power steering fluid reservoir located in a 2000 VW Golf?
The owner's manual is not a good source of information. It routinely recommends taking the car back to the dealership for all maintenance. So, has anyone out there added power steering fluid to a 2000 VW Golf? If so, how? Oh, it's a manual trans. if that's important. Read More

- my passat is on the drivers side between the battery and the rad support near the fender,white bottle with green cap
- it is on the pass side of the engine compartment. it is a black bottle with a green cap. you will need a screw driver to open it. put the screw driver in the notch in the cap and loosen the cap by unscrewing it. Reference:vw cert. tech ase cert. tech
