- Yes but maybe not all the options for 2008 models. 3.5 V6, 5.7 V8, 6.1 V8 will be in there at some point. Supposed to have a manual transmission option too. Why buy a sports car with a v6? You buy a sports car for the sport not to be a poser.

The Mustang is a perennial player in the muscle car segment.
Unlike the Challenger and Camaro, the Mustang never went out of production.
Comparing today's models, the 2008 Mustang is nowhere near as large as the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8.
You can seat three in back in a Dodge; don't try that in the current Mustang or the upcoming 2010 Camaro, which we bring up here even though it doesn't go on sale until 2009.
