  • No, that wouldn't make any sense. That probably won't happen until Acura comes out with the new TL that could perhaps have the J37 found in the MDX. I mean, it makes sense that Infiniti would base the G around the TL, since when the new TL came out the G was its... Read More
  • For some clarification to Brad: Nissan owns Infiniti Toyota owns Lexus Honda owns Acura The G35 is loosely based on the Nissan 350Z, so it can better compete with the BMW 3 series. Sorry, but the 3 Series is the overall better car. Look at the 2007 BMW 328i Sport. It... Read More
  • Not for the 2008 model year but it is possible in the future but not a definate. Nissans release of the HR line of the VQ series engine (in this case the VQ35HR in the Sedan and VQ37HR in the Coupe) the sedan was intended to have less power then the coupe to elevate... Read More
  • The G35 sedan will eventually transition to the G37 but not for 2008. Only the coupe for now. Everything seems to be getting bigger, stronger, and faster nowadays. I wished I leased my 2006 G35... = (
  • The G35 Sedan was just updated last year, so there will not be any significant changes for 2008.it will NOT receive the 3.7l engine for 2008, but perhaps at a later date.

Why should I also consider these?

When it comes to premium sedans, there is no shortage of candidates worthy of your attention.

The best-selling car in this bunch is the well-respected BMW 3 Series.

There's no doubt that the Bimmer is an excellent choice, but the 2008 Infiniti G35 is an equally good selection.

The Audi A4 is due for a remake in 2009, so the current model is getting a little old.

However, if you're looking for a front-wheel-drive sedan, the Audi qualifies (it also offers AWD).

The Acura TL is another solid front-wheel-drive option, but it is not as sporting in character as the G35.

Ditto for the Lexus IS, even though it is rear-wheel driven (with an all-wheel-drive option).

A less expensive alternative to the G35 is the Subaru Legacy.
